Training of CERT
The Living Hope community has taken the CERT course training for 8 weeks ending on October Friday 13 with their certification.
C.E.R.T (Community Emergency Response Team) is an organization dedicated to preparing and training individuals and their families to help themselves and their community in the event of an emergency situation whether a natural disaster, terrorist attack, or any other emergency situations that can arise. CERT's goal during such events is to assist the most amount of people in the least amount of time. Especially because emergency services may not always be available during these scenarios or emergency assistance can often take a vast amount of time to reach a community, CERT is an organization for a community to receive the training necessary to be able to help themselves instead of waiting for help to arrive.
